M Jackson is an acclaimed public speaker, glaciologist, geographer, and storyteller whose work illuminates the profound connections between people and ice. Represented by The Lyceum Agency, Jackson delivers a select number of keynotes and public talks each year—appearing everywhere from major universities, science centers, and international festivals to prisons, book clubs, and—her favorite—high schools around the world.

A featured National Geographic Expert, Jackson also lectures aboard National Geographic’s ship, land, and private jet expeditions, where she translates the latest glacier science into human stories of change, resilience, and creativity.

Her talks are highly visual and deeply personal, blending decades of fieldwork across Iceland, Alaska, South Georgia, and the Aleutians with reflections on climate change, storytelling, and what it means to live in a melting world. Each presentation is an invitation—to see glaciers not just as frozen rivers of ice, but as mirrors of our own human experience.

M Jackson has presented at venues as varied The Denver Foundation, National Geographic Explorers Festival, the Desert Botanical Garden, Atlanta Science Festival, The Dublin Festival of Curiosity, PDX Voices, NatGeo Nights, TED, Ponant, Harvard, Westminster College, Philips Exeter Academy, and the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine.

M conveys a sense of optimism which is all too rare these days. People should hear her.
